Luka Modric has reacted on social media after his former Real Madrid teammate James Rodriguez's impressive performances during Copa America 2024. Colombia have secured a spot in the semi-finals of the competition, where they'll face Uruguay on July 10.
Nestor Lorenzo's side thrashed Panama 5-0 to book their slot in the semi-finals of the competition. Rodriguez scored from the penalty spot during the quarter-final game and the former Real Madrid star has now scored once and has provided five assists in the tournament.
Apart from his goal against Panama, Rodriguez also set up Jhon Cordoba and Luis Diaz's goals, becoming the first player ever to have three goal contributions in the first half of a Copa America game. Rodriguez has also won the Man of the Match award in three of Colombia's four games in the tournament.
