Real Madrid youngster Arda Guler sent a heartfelt message to his countrymen after Turkiye's elimination from Euro 2024. The 19-year-old midfielder was one of the standout performers of the tournament in Germany, helping his country make it to the quarterfinals.
Turkiye were knocked out after a close-fought game against The Netherlands that ended 2-1 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 6. Following the result, the midfielder took to social media to post:

The Real Madrid youngster will be pleased with his performances for his country, which saw him bag a goal and two assists in the tournament.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will have a selection problem on his hands next season, with the talented midfielder sure to expect more appearances in his sophomore season. He joined Los Blancos from Fenerbahce last season and managed six goals from 12 appearances.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Arda Guler would stay with the Spanish giants next season. The comments came before the end of the previous season, months before he impressed with Turkiye at Euro 2024.
The talented Turkiye international impressed the legendary Italian manager after scoring the winner in a La Liga clash with Real Sociedad. Following the match, Ancelotti was asked if he would consider sending the midfielder out on loan to which he said via Forbes:
"There's no doubt he'll stay here next year. I really liked his great attitude, fighting and fighting for every ball. He's going to be very important in the future."
The Los Blancos starlet's performances at Euro 2024 will have strengthened Ancelotti's resolve to keep him at the club next season. Arda Guler increased his tally for his country to two goals and two assists from 12 games.
