"So ready for this", "We're winning it all" - Real Madrid fans react as 21-year-old star returns to starting XI for Lille clash

Real Madrid fans reacted on social media as 21-year-old Eduardo Camavinga returned to the starting lineup to face Lille Olympique Sporting Club on Wednesday, October 2. The Spanish giants are in France for their second UEFA Champions League clash this season, which will see them face Lille.

A knee injury has kept the versatile midfielder out of contention since mid-August, as he missed 10 games for Los Blancos. He sat on the bench during their UEFA Super Cup win over Atalanta BC back in August but hasn't played, missing all their games so far.

However, he returned to the bench for their most recent league clash against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on September 29. He did not play a minute in that game as they drew 1-1. Despite this, Carlo Ancelotti has deemed him fit enough to partake in their UEFA Champions League outing against Lille today at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

This has pleased the Real Madrid fans, who are glad to see Camavinga return to the starting lineup. They took to social media with posts like these:

"Camavinga i am so ready for this," a fan said.
"Camavinga back. We're winning it all," another fan added.
"Endrick and Camavinga tears I’m going to the living room right now and turning my mom’s 7PM news off," a third exclaimed.
"Look's whos back bruh?? My Camavinga is back! 🔥" a fourth was happy.
"So happy to see Camavinga back!" this fan was pleased.
"Endrick y Camavinga titulares TODAY WE BALL JODER," another fan was prepared.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti speaks about Kylian Mbappe's availability for Champions League clash

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about Kylian Mbappe, who has been deemed fit to travel to Lille for Los Blancos' upcoming Champions League clash. The striker suffered a muscle injury that saw him miss out on the match against Atletico Madrid.

However, he seems to have returned to training quickly, with Ancelotti revealing to the press (via Madrid Universal):

“He has recovered very well, very fast. He trained yesterday and today he will do the complete training with us. Then we will make the decision all together, because the last thing we want is to risk it.”

The Real Madrid manager also added:

“Mbappe has had an overload. Now with new technologies, we talk about grade one, grade two. He used to be a supercharge and in less than a week he has recovered well. He wanted to travel to play. We’ll see what training he does today. If he’s fully fit, he can play. If there is no risk, he will play from the first minute."

However, Kylian Mbappe has been named on the bench, rather than the starting lineup, with Endrick deputizing the World Cup winner's position on the pitch.
