Sporting CP 4-1 Manchester City: Player ratings as Ruben Amorim batters Pep Guardiola in last home game before Manchester United arrival

On Tuesday, incoming Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim bested Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in a game that will please the red half of Manchester. It was the reigning English champions' third consecutive loss.

Phil Foden opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Viktor Gyokeres equalized for the hosts in the 38th minute with a smart finish. The hosts took the lead just after halftime after Pedro Goncalves set up Maximiliano Araujo in the 46th minute.

Gyokeres made it 3-1 after Josko Gvardiol brought down Francisco Trincao in the 49th minute. The Swedish striker completed his hattrick in the 80th minute after Matheus Nunes brought down Catamo in the box to make it 4-1.

Ederson Moraes - 5/10

The Brazilian played poorly and picked the ball from the back of his net four times. He managed only two saves against Ruben Amorim's side.
