Arsenal fans are praising Leandro Trossard on X after he scored in their 4-1 win against Bayer Leverkusen. The two sides locked horns against each other in a pre-season friendly at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, August 7.
The Gunners got off to the perfect start after Oleksandr Zinchenko's thunderous shot broke the deadlock in the eighth minute. Leandro Trossard displayed some exceptional footwork a minute later to double their advantage.
Arsenal continued their dominance with Gabriel Jesus also getting on the scoresheet in the 38th minute after the Brazilian found the back of the net from outside the box. Kai Havertz tapped home in the 65th minute to make it 4-0 before Adam Hlozek scored a consolation goal 11 minutes later.
Trossard was given an opportunity to start down the left wing and took full advantage of it. The Belgian looked in fine form during his 81 minutes on the field, scoring one goal, creating two big chances, landing both his shots on target, and completing both of his dribbles.
