"Thank you Real Madrid for everything you have made me feel" - Joselu posts heartwarming farewell message to Los Blancos supporters

Departing Real Madrid striker Joselu Mato has penned a heartfelt message to the club's fans following the end of his stint at Santiago Bernabeu. Following the club's announcement of the 34-year-old striker's signing and sale, he took to social media to post a heartfelt message thanking the club and its fans. Joselu said:

"Thank you. It is the best word and the most suitable to express everything I feel at this moment, in which emotion and nerves barely allow me to write. Thank you Real Madrid for everything you have made me feel throughout my life. Outside and inside. Inside and outside."
"Thank you for what you taught me as a kid; thank you for giving me so many examples of greatness and humility at the same time," he added. "Thank you for keeping my dream alive and for making it come true. Thank you Presi, you are very great. Thank you José Ángel for so much. Thanks to each and every one of the employees of the largest and most exemplary club. Thank you coach for your way of understanding this game. Thank you team for being my family. Thank you love for so much passion, so much love and that complicity that made us fly."

Joselu will surely be remembered fondly by the Los Blancos fans for his memorable year back in the Spanish capital. He scored 19 goals and provided three assists in 51 games last season, including a brace in the second leg of their Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich.
