“The main one is Cristiano Ronaldo” - Chelsea star names 3 attackers who influenced him

Chelsea star midfielder Noni Madueke named Cristiano Ronaldo as one of the three strikers that had the biggest influence on his career. The 22-year-old right winger had high praise for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner as well as Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.

"The main one is Cristiano Ronaldo, that's probably when I was a bit younger, but Mbappé, Vinicius Jr. I watch those type of players and try and take bits from their game. Arjen Robben [too]. They are decisive. They win games on their own and they entertain crowds. That's what I like to do as well," Madueke, who moved to the Blues in January of 2023 from Eindhoven, told ESPN, via Madrid Zone.

Ronaldo, Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. are considered three of the top strikers in the world. The Portuguese megastar has claimed every major title he has competed for, aside from the FIFA World Cup.

As for Mbappe and Vinicius Jr., they have emerged as world-class strikers over the last few years and will be teammates next season, as the French star is expected to join Real Madrid in the summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly stay with Al-Nassr through 2026

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia back in 2022 and joined Al-Nassr. He continues to play at a top level, with 42 goals and 13 assists in 42 games across all competitions.

The Portuguese megastar has one year left on his current deal with Al-Nassr, but according to TalkSport, he could stay for one more season.

"2025 is a really key year in Saudi Arabia for two reasons. One, because Cristiano Ronaldo's contract expires, although my understanding is that he may renew for one year," Saudi Pro League correspondent of TalkSport, Ben Jacobs, reported.

It remains unclear what Ronaldo will do and whether he will pursue a return to Europe or will stay in Saudi Arabia through the end of his career. Ronaldo will also have one final international run with Portugal, as he is expected to headline the squad that will travel to Germany for the Euro 2024.
