"There's no defending that performance", "Needs to go in the summer" - Fans want Manchester United star sold despite 3-0 Leicester win
Manchester United fans on X want Marcus Rashford sold in the summer after he struggled to make an impact in their 3-0 win against Leicester City. The two sides faced each other in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday, November 10.
Bruno Fernandes broke the deadlock for the Red Devils in the 17th minute after he brilliantly swept the ball into the bottom-right corner. Leicester then scored an own goal 21 minutes later when Fernandes' header ricocheted off Victor Kristiansen into the back of the net. Alejandro Garnacho then netted a curler into the top-right corner in the 82nd minute to help his side seal all three points.
Rashford started on the left wing for Manchester United. However, the 27-year-old had a poor outing, creating zero chances, and failed to attempt even a single shot on goal. In addition, he lost three duels and failed to look like a threat going forward. He was eventually subbed off in the 57th minute in place of Garnacho.
Rashford has struggled for form this season as well, garnering four goals and three assists in 18 appearances across competitions. One fan posted:
"There's no defending that Rashford performance."

"Needs to go in the summer, need to invest in a world class LW."

"After that Garnacho goal, Rashford has no business ever starting a game for United again," another chimed in
"We wanted to say goodbye as a manager for him" - Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes dedicates Leicester win to Ruud van Nistelrooy
Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes has acknowledged his side were determined to part ways with interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy on a positive note following their 3-0 against Leicester City.

He did an admirable job, leading the Red Devils to three wins from four games across competitions, drawing the other. Ruben Amorim is expected to take over as Manchester United boss on Monday, November 11.
Following the game, Fernandes said (via @UnitedStandMUFC):
"Ruud van Nistelrooy fills the club, he loves the club, he wants to bring joy to the players. He brought everyone with a smile to the games, he just wanted us to enjoy it. We wanted to say goodbye as a manager for him properly because he did good things for us."
Manchester United are 13th in the league table with 15 points from 11 games, 13 points behind leaders Liverpool.
