"They are from another planet" - When Carlos Tevez shared what playing alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo was like

Argentine legend Carlos Tevez once talked about playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, stating that it was not an ordinary experience.

Carlos Tevez shared the dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo between 2007 and 2009 during his stint at Manchester United. The Red Devils won the League Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and two Premier League titles in those two years.

Meanwhile, he played alongside Lionel Messi for the Argentine national team. Tevez made 76 senior appearances for La Albiceleste in his professional career.

Recalling his time with the two football icons, Carlos Tevez lavished praise on Messi and Ronaldo by stating that they are from another planet. He said in 2022 (via ESPN):

"They are two greats. I felt comfortable with them both. I enjoyed both and learned from them. They are both out of the ordinary. With Cristiano, I lived the day to day and with Leo, it was with the national team."

He added:

"They are from another planet, They are still part of football's elite, and that is very difficult. It's something to admire. You have to tip your hats off to those kinds of players."

Carlos Tevez played for the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, West Ham United, Juventus, and multiple other football clubs before he hung up his boots in June 2022. He was also a part of the Argentine football team, which won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Barcelona to invite Lionel Messi at their 125th anniversary in November: Reports

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly been invited by Barcelona to their 125th anniversary, scheduled to take place on November 29. The Blaugrana have been making the plans for the event since the last two years, as they hoped to conduct the program at the newly refurbished Camp Nou.

However, the renovations are not expected to be complete before April 2025. As per Revelo, the La Liga giants will send Lionel Messi an invitational letter for the anniversary, as he's one of the greatest players in their club's history.

However, Messi's participation in the event is uncertain because Inter Miami might be playing in the MLS play-offs at the time. The Argentine superstar recently guided the Herons to the Supporters' Shield trophy with a 3-2 win over Columbus Crew on Wednesday, October 2.

The accolade was Messi's 46th career title. Inter Miami are currently in the first spot in the Eastern Conference with 68 points in 32 matches.
