"Thinks he's f****ing Ronaldo", "First player that needs to get sold" - Fans rip into Manchester United star after Ipswich draw

Manchester United fans have blasted Alejandro Garnacho on X after he struggled to make an impact during their 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town. Ruben Amorim picked up a point on his debut following their Premier League fixture at Portman Road on Sunday, November 24.

Marcus Rashford handed Amorim a dream start as Manchester United head coach after he tapped Amad Diallo's brilliant cross home in the second minute. Andre Onana made some excellent saves to keep his side in the game but was left helpless in the 43rd minute. Omari Hutchinson unleashed an unstoppable curler from distance that deflected into the top-left corner to level the scores.

Garnacho was handed a start down the left wing but could not make an impact during his 86 minutes on the pitch. The 20-year-old created zero chances, landed one shot on target from two attempts, missed one big chance, completed zero dribbles, and lost eight duels.

One fan posted:

"I’m fed up of Garnacho he thinks he f****ng Ronaldo he’s the first player that needs to get sold"

Another compared Garnacho to Jesse Lingard over Cristiano Ronaldo:

"Garnacho have to realise that he’s the new Lingard, not the new Ronaldo"

Other fans reacted below:

"Garnacho needs to warm the bench for sometime. He’s gotten comfortable," one fan commented
"Please retire Rashford and sell Garnacho, he's a waste in disguise," another added
"When will managers learn that garnacho should come from the bench," one fan questioned
"Fr, Garnacho is so disappointing man," another admitted

"Amorim's got big problems" - Jamie Redknapp pinpoints Manchester United's glaring weakness following Ipswich draw

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp reckons Ruben Amorimn has big problems to resolve following Manchester United's 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town. The former pinpointed their lack of threat going forward as his biggest concern following the fixture.

Despite taking an early lead, Amorim's Manchester United struggled going forward, landing 11 shots on target with four being on target (xG of 0.90). They never looked like grabbing a winner in the second half, landing just one effort on target from six attempts. Ipswich arguably looked the better side, mustering 11 shots with six on target, with an xG of 1.75.

Redknapp said (via @UnitedStandMUFC):

"He's [Amorim] got big problems. The lack of threat in the second half and Ipswich looked like they'd go on and win. They've not won at home all season. Same problems for #mufc but he's only had a week with them. You have to give the man a chance but the threat going forward, it's a huge problem for Man United. It's not good enough."

Manchester United are currently 12th in the table with 16 points from 12 games, 15 points behind leaders Liverpool.
