“This feels like a really dangerous game for Gunners” - Chris Sutton predicts winner of Arsenal vs Chelsea

Chris Sutton has backed Arsenal to beat Chelsea this week in the Premier League. He believes the Gunners will collect all three points after dropping two at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.

In his weekly prediction column on BBC, Sutton said that the Blues could make things 'dangerous' for the Gunners. However, he expects the Premier League title challengers to come out victorious, writing:

"Arsenal bounced back from a bad week really well against Wolves on Saturday and won comfortably, but Chelsea put in a good performance too despite losing their FA Cup semifinal to Manchester City.
"This feels like a really dangerous game for the Gunners, and the rivalry between the two clubs is going to be a big factor as well."

Predicting a 2-1 Gunners win, he added:

"Chelsea probably should have beaten them at Stamford Bridge in October but let a two-goal lead slip late on. They are making progress under Mauricio Pochettino, but they still have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot like they did that day.
"So, I am backing Arsenal to find a way of winning this one - although again it is going to be extremely close."

Zack Morris, star of Jericho Ridge, joined Sutton in making the predictions this week. He predicted the same scoreline but tipped the Blues to come out victorious.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta heaps praise on Chelsea counterpart

Mikel Arteta has said that Mauricio Pochettino has done a great job at Chelsea. The Arsenal manager dones't want to compare the Blues' journey with his club and said:

"I think the journey of those clubs are very, very different. Nothing to compare in my opinion.
"It's a huge admiration for Mauricio because I've known him since 23 years ago and I really wish him all the best. He's an incredible manager. He's a huge leader, and he will inspire the club to get what they want to get, that's for sure."

Arteta took over at Arsenal in 2019 and won the FA Cup within the first year. His best achievement since then has been finishing second in the Premier League table last season.
