“Unreal player, even better person” - Jude Bellingham sends birthday message to Real Madrid star

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has wished his teammate Brahim Diaz on his birthday. The Spaniard turned 25 on Saturday (August 3).

Diaz and Bellingham struck gold in their first season together at the Santiago Bernabeu, as Los Blancos won three titles, including a second La Liga-UEFA Champions League double in three years.

Both players played key roles, with Diaz contributing 12 goals and nine assists in 44 games across competitions, while Bellingham bagged 23 goals and 13 assists in 42 outings.

On Diaz's birthday, Bellingham posted a picture of the duo on Instagram stories and captioned it:

It's pertinent to note that Bellingham is not part of Los Blancos' pre-season tour of the US due to his deep run with England at Euro 2024. The Three Lions lost 2-1 to Spain in the Berlin final on July 14.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti's side kicked off their tour with a 1-0 loss to AC Milan. They next take on arch-rivals Barcelona on Saturday (July 3) at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham had a decent Euro 2024 campaign with England in Germany. The Three Lions made it back-to-back European Championship finals but returned empty-handed on both occasions, though.

Playing all seven games, the 21-year-old contributed two goals and an assist. One of the strikes was the winner in the 1-0 group-stage win over Serbia in the Three Lions' campaign opener.

The other was a brilliant last-gasp equaliser with Gareth Southgate's side seconds away from Round of 16 elimination against Slovakia. Bellingham also provided the assist to substitute Cole Palmer in the final as the Three Lions restored parity.

However, Mikel Oyarzabal's late winner meant that Spain would have the last laugh as La Roja became the first four-time European champions while the Three Lions became the first team to lose successive Euro finals.
