"Very daring personality and an attitude that is out of the ordinary for his age" - Cesc Fabregas in awe of Real Madrid superstar

Former Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas has lauded Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, insisting he can 'mark an era' for Los Blancos.

Bellingham is set to play in his first El Clasico this Saturday (October 28) when Madrid clash with Barca at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys. The English midfielder has been a revelation since joining Carlo Ancelotti's side from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for €103 million.

The 20-year-old has bagged 11 goals and three assists in just 12 games across competitions for Real Madrid. He joined Cristiano Ronaldo as the only two players in the La Liga giants' history to score four goals in their first four games for Los Merengues.

Fabregas has hailed Bellingham ahead of the El Clasico, speaking highly of his personality (via Football Espana):

"They had told me very good things about him. He is a boy with a very, very daring personality, an attitude that is out of the ordinary for his age.”

The former Barca midfielder, who played in 12 El Clasico's, reckons Bellingham has all the tools to excel at a club of Real Madrid's magnitude:

"From what they tell me about him, he has a very good mentality when it comes to competing, not being afraid of anything and is showing it."

Fabregas also said:

"If you are in a club like Madrid or Barcelona you have to prove it every day or every three days, playing, competing… I see him as very capable of marking an era at Real Madrid.”

Bellingham has been nominated for the 2023 Golden Boy award after a stellar 2022-23 campaign with Dortmund. He won the Bundesliga Player of the Year award, bagging 14 goals and seven assists in 42 games across competitions.

Sergio Aguero has also given a glowing verdict of Real Madrid's new superstar Bellingham. The former Barca striker praised him for his adaption to life at the Bernabeu, telling online casino Stake:

"Jude's adaptation was downright impressive. Ten games, ten goals, that's the whole story. Even as a young player, the pressure of playing for such an enormous team didn't affect him. That's praiseworthy."

Bellingham is ascending to the top of world football and doing so in a scintillating fashion. He's popped up with vital goals this season, including the winner in Los Blancos' 2-1 win against Braga in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday (October 24).

Aguero insisted that the England international can become one of the world's greatest players if he keeps up his scintillating performances:

"You can even see him do great things for the national squad. If he maintains this level consistently, he may be named among the best for sure."

Bellingham has also excelled for the Three Lions' national team, managing two goals and five assists in 27 caps. He played a key role in assisting Gareth Southgate's side qualify for next year's European Championships.
