England fans causing beer shortage during their Euro 2024 struggle in Germany

Several pub owners in Germany have been left stunned at the rate England fans are consuming beer during Euro 2024. A few pub owners have revealed that they are left with nothing, as a result of high demand.

Peter Klinkhammer, owner of the pub Da Spiegel, said on the matter (via Metro):

"Everyone had problems getting enough beers. Waiters were seen running with barrows to ask for supplies from neighboring pubs- mostly in vain."

English fans are certainly enjoying themselves to the fullest. While their team have reached the last eight of the competition, they haven't been on the most soothing run so far.

The Three Lions have mostly scraped past opponents and were also saved by the skin in the Round-of-16 clash against Slovakia, which they won 2-1 in extra time. Against a confident Switzerland side, who beat Italy 2-0 in the last round, Gareth Southgate's team can't afford any lapse.
