WATCH: Footage of Chelsea star slapping Nottingham Forest defender during brawl comes to light

New footage has revealed the moment Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson slapped Nottingham Forest defender Morata. The two sides were involved in a brawl during their Premier League clash which ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday, October 6.

The visitors took the lead early in the second half through Chris Wood (49'). Noni Madueke restored parity for the Blues eight minutes later (57') after Cole Palmer set up the Englishman. Other notable highlights of the game include James Ward-Prowse getting sent off for a bizarre handball challenge and a massive brawl toward the end of the game.

Players and coaches from both clubs got into a scuffle in the 88th minute after an incident between Neco Williams and Marc Cucurella. The Forest defender pushed the Spaniard into Enzo Maresca by the touchline which prompted the brawl.

Now, new footage of the incident shows Jackson raising his hands to Morata's face during the brawl. The Senegalese forward, who had already been substituted for Christopher Nkunku, can be seen in the middle of the melee before being held back by his teammates.

Whilst Williams, Cucurella, and Levi Collwill were booked by referee Chris Kavanagh for their involvement in the brawl, Jackson was not reprimanded. However, with the footage coming to light, the incident could be reviewed and he risks being sanctioned by the FA.

Chelsea will also reportedly be handed a £50,000 fine by the FA after six of their players were booked in the encounter at Stamford Bridge. Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto, and Wesley Fofana were also shown a yellow card by the referee.

Chelsea could have 3 key players absent against Liverpool

The Blues could be without Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, and Nicolas Jackson for their next Premier League clash against Liverpool after the international break on Sunday, October 20.

Cucurella and Fofana are suspended for the clash at Anfield for yellow card accumulation, while Jackson could be handed a match ban by the FA for slapping Nottingham Forest's Morata.

The Chelsea defenders picked up their fifth yellow card in seven games against Forest and will serve a one-match ban as per FA rules. Meanwhile, the club will wait to see what punishment could be given to Jackson.

The 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest ended Chelsea's five-game winning run. Enzo Maresca's side currently occupy the fourth position in the table with 14 points, four behind league leaders Liverpool.
