Watch: Neymar filmed crying in a nightclub after Brazil's 2024 Copa America elimination

Brazillian superstar Neymar Jr was filmed crying at a nightclub following the Selecao's elimination from 2024 Copa America. The former Barcelona forward is currently out injured after sustaining an injury with Brazil during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Al Hilal star has been unavailable since October after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury in the 2-0 loss to Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers, where he had to be stretchered off.

The Samba boys fell to defeat against 10-man Uruguay in the 2024 Copa America quarter-finals on penalties - a 4-2 defeat - after failing to score in regulation time. Missed spot-kicks from Eder Militao and Douglas Luiz saw Dorival Junior's team get eliminated.

Here's the video of Neymar crying at a nightclub after the Selecao's Copa America elimination:

The 32-year-old has made 128 appearances for his country, scoring a record 79 goals and assisting 59. Neymar's absence was always going to be a big miss for Brazil at 2024 Copa America 2024, having reached the final with him in the last edition in 2021.

Despite his qualities and importance for the team, Neymar hasn't had major success with the senior Brazillian national team, winning only the Olympics and Confederations Cup.

Neymar tips Brazil attacker Vinicius Jr for Ballon d'Or after Copa America elimination

Brazilian superstar Neymar has tipped his compatriot Vinicius Jr to win the Ballon d'Or following his superb season for Real Madrid. The forward was phenomenal for Los Blancos, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists in 39 games across competitions and is widely tipped to be a frontrunner for the Ballon d'Or this year.

The forward scored twice in three games at 2024 Copa America before missing the quarter-finals due to suspension. Speaking about Vinicius, Neymar, a former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player, waxed lyrical about his compatriot, saying via Fotmob:

"As for Vini, obviously I think the Ballon d'Or is his today. I sent (him) messages before and after the (Champions League final) game. He's a boy I love with passion, a great friend that football gave me. He will certainly be crowned with the Ballon d'Or."

Neymar concluded:

"He's incredible. Carrying our country's flag around the world, and we're really rooting for him."

Vinicius was a big miss for Brazil in the quarter-final loss to Uruguay at the Copa. He will look to make amends at his next major international tournament - the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
