"We’ll find a place for him, we’ll squeeze him in" - Ancelotti provides response when asked where he'll use Kylian Mbappe in Real Madrid XI
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has given fans the reassurance that he will definitely find a way to fit Kylian Mbappe into the starting XI. The Italian's comments come after many speculated about which of Los Blancos' star attackers would make way to accommodate the Frenchman in the lineup.
Speaking to the media at the Giffoni Film Festival, Ancelotti said (via GOAL):
"It is my responsibility to find a place for Mbappe. We'll find a place for him, we'll squeeze him in."
Real Madrid currently boasts a star-studded lineup, with Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo featuring in attack. Adding Kylian Mbappe to the mix would mean one of those would have to be dropped to the bench as the Frenchman prefers playing up from or from the left.
Real Madrid's starting front three last season bagged 44 goals in La Liga and that tally is likely to increase with one of the world's best strikers joining. This will also make it that much harder for Carlo Ancelotti to drop one of three star players.
Mbappe himself had an incredible season for Paris Saint-Germain. He made 48 appearances across competitions and bagged an impressive 44 goals along with 10 assists.
Now, he will play with an arguably better squad around him and will look to add the elusive UEFA Champions League trophy to his already impressive cabinet.

Three other Manchester City players in the form of Rodri (€130m), Josko Gvardiol (€75m) and Ruben Dias (€80m) are on the list.
Georgian shot-stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili (€45m) also appears on the list after an impressive UEFA Euro 2024 campaign with his nation. Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold (€70m) and Arsenal's William Saliba (€80m) round off the list as some of the most valuable players over the last few seasons.
