"We've got this little thing" - Liverpool star reveals new rule Mohamed Salah has set at training facility's coffee dock

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has revealed a new rule Mohamed Salah has set at the club's new coffee dock at the Kirkby training facility. Jones has said that he and Salah often hang out at the coffee dock alongside Dominik Szoboszlai and Kostas Tsimikas.

Jones claimed Mohamed Salah set a new rule for the quartet where they won't use their cell phones while having coffee together. The 23-year-old said, as quoted by Daveockop on Instagram:

“That’s the new place where everyone’s just chilling. We’ve made like a little group now. You’re always either going to see me, Dom, Kostas and Mo, that’s our little four. We’ve now got this little thing where we’re not allowed on our phones when we’re there having coffee. It’s Mo who’s brought in the rule.”

The English midfielder added:

“If we’re inside there and I’m on the phone, Mo will tell Dom ‘will you text him and tell him that we’re here and we want to have a conversation with him’. In other words, get off your phone! Why are you always on your phone?”

Mohamed Salah has etched his name in Liverpool's history books since joining the Reds back in 2017 from AS Roma in a reported £34.3 million deal. The Egypt international has scored 218 goals and provided 96 assists in 361 appearances for the club till date.

Salah has been integral to everything the Merseyside giants have achieved in recent years, having won eight trophies in the process. He has been exceptional under Arne Slot this season, contributing with seven goals and seven assists in 12 appearances.

Curtis Jones, on the other hand, has made 141 appearances for Liverpool till date having come through the club's youth ranks. The midfielder has scored 17 goals and provided 15 assists for the Reds winning four trophies.

Manchester United legend claims Liverpool could beat Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title

Manchester United icon Paul Scholes has claimed that Liverpool could beat Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title this season. The Reds have made a stellar start to the new season under their new manager Arne Slot, having won 11 of their first 12 games across competitions.

The Merseyside giants' only defeat this campaign came against Nottingham Forest as they suffered a shock 1-0 loss at Anfield. Paul Scholes has admitted that he has been thoroughly impressed with Slot's side and has backed them for the title. The former Manchester United midfielder said on The Overlap (via Teamtalk):

“They’ve got legs haven’t they, which is a big thing. I think the biggest thing I noticed at Old Trafford when they played against [Manchester] United, ‘wow, they look a fit team’. And there’s quality with it as well."
"The three in the middle of the pitch, with the forwards they’ve got in front of them, I don’t think it really matters that much. I think we all say, ‘You’re only as good as your forwards are’, they’ve got three forwards, not three, five or six forwards who are special so that middle of the pitch I don’t think becomes that important," Scholes added.

The former England international continued:

“Although they have still got six again, any three of the six could play who can be brilliant, [Alexis] Mac Allister didn’t play at the weekend – how good has he been? I think Liverpool’s squad is better than Arsenal’s. I think Guardiola will be more worried about Liverpool than he is about Arsenal.”

Liverpool are currently at the top of the Premier League table with 21 points in eight games. They lead Manchester City and Arsenal by one and four points respectively and will take on the Gunners on Sunday, October 27.
