Barcelona fans have waxed lyrical about Marc Casado on X after his brilliant performance in their 4-1 win against Bayern Munich. The two European giants locked horns in the UEFA Champions League at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Wednesday, October 23.
La Blaugrana got off to the perfect start when Raphinha found the back of the net in the first minute. However, Bayern responded quickly, leveling the scores 17 minutes later via Harry Kane's low finish. Robert Lewandowski gave Barcelona the lead in the 36th minute before Raphinha netted in the 45th and 56th minutes to complete his hat-trick and secure all three points for the hosts.
Casado had a solid outing in midfield. The 21-year-old provided an outstanding across-the-field assist for Raphinha's second goal, created one chance, and completed 30 out of 34 passes with an accuracy of 88 percent. In addition, he made four recoveries, won five duels, and made two clearances.
