"What is promised is a debt" - Chelsea star Marc Cucurella shows off new hairstyle after starring in Spain's Euro 2024 win

Chelsea star Marc Cucurella bleached his hair red after Spain won Euro 2024, and he showed off his new look with a social media post. The left-back has been up to a ton of tomfoolery in the aftermath of La Roja's 2-1 victory against England in the final (July 14).

Cucurella appears to have put a bet on Spain winning the European Championships. The result? His locks are bleached red, as seen in his X (formerly Twitter) post below:

Cucurella, 25, was a standout performer at Euro 2024, appearing in six of seven games. He assisted Mikel Oyarzabal's 86th winner in the Olympastadion Berlin in the final.

It remains to be seen how long the Chelsea star keeps his red highlights; it's certainly a unique look. He'll enjoy a holiday break before joining up with his Blues teammates for pre-season.

The former Brighton & Hove Albion man might pester his teammates with a new song created in his honor post-Euro 2024. He was heard singing the chant during Spain's trophy celebrations back in their homeland. He sang:

"Cucu, Cucurella, eat a paella. Cucu, Cucurella, drink an Estrella. Haaland's trembling, Cucurella's coming. Haaland's trembling, Cucurella's coming. So eat a biscuit."

Cucurella won't have to wait too long to face Erling Haaland as Chelsea kickstart their Premier League campaign against Manchester City (August 18). Enzo Maresca's men also face the reigning champions in a pre-season friendly (August 3).

Chelsea's Marc Cucurella took a dig at Gary Neville after Spain's Euro 2024 triumph

Cucurella has rattled England fans with his post-Euro 2024 antics, with many Three Lions fans eager for Haaland to wipe the smile off his face. He's proving to be quite the menace, and he's even trolled Manchester United legend Gary Neville.

Neville worked as a pundit on ITV Sport during the European Championships and assessed Spain's chances of winning the tournament. He suggested Cucurella was the nation's weak link and why La Roja wouldn't go far.

Cucurella responded with an amusing post on his Instagram story after Luis de la Fuente's men reigned supreme:

"We went all the way Gary. Thanks for your support."

Cucurella has endured a difficult spell at Chelsea since joining from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60 million in 2022. He struggled to become a regular starter under Mauricio Pochettino last season but started to shine as the campaign progressed.
