Spain has officially qualified for the Euro 2024 final following a 2-1 victory over France in the semi-final, with viewers in awe of Lamine Yamal's performance in particular.
After Kolo Muani gave France the lead in the 8th minute from a sensational cross by Kylian Mbappe, La Roja equalised in the 21st minute before taking a 2-1 lead within five minutes of their first goal.
The equalising goal came from 16-year-old La Masia graduate Lamine Yamal as he wrongfooted Adrien Rabiot and unleashed a perfect curler into the box. Yamal's goal was followed by Dani Olmo's strike, which deflected off Kounde to find the back of the French net, making it 2-1.
Fans buzzed with excitement with most in awe of Yamal's performance. Many pointed out the negatives of France, particularly criticizing Kylian Mbappe. Here are some of the reactions:

Spain is set to face either England or Netherlands in the Euro 2024 final on July 14 at Olympiastadion in Berlin. La Roja is the joint-highest holder of Euro titles alongside Germany (3). They qualified for the final of the Euros for the first time since 2012.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, Lamine opened up about his feelings after scoring a sensational curler in the 21st minute to equalise vs France. He was also named the UEFA Man of the Match in the semi-final.
The 16-year-old shared his joy at the occasion.
“Very happy to be in the final..the goal came in difficult moments, I got the ball, I didn't think, it went in...I now ask to win the final. I also wanted to celebrate my birthday in Germany and I’m very happy," the Barcelona star said. (via ReshadFCB on X)
Lamine has been one of the breakthrough stars of Euro 2024 for Spain so far, with exceptional performances in each game. The La Masia graduate has found the net once and recorded three assists in the tournament.
At the tender age of 16, the Spanish youngster's statistics have been commendable, and he has been key to the La Roja attack with a great partnership with Nico Williams.
