“You don’t really notice him but he does everything right” - Wes Brown gives special praise to 27-year-old Manchester United star after win vs Plzen

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has hailed Noussair Mazraoui for his excellent showing in their 2-1 win against FC Viktoria Plzen (December 12). The Morocco international had a pretty impressive game for Ruben Amorim's side playing as the right-sided centre-back in a back three.

Mazraoui has proven to be a fantastic addition to Manchester United following his reported £12.8 million move from Bayern Munich in the summer. While most of the Red Devils' signings in recent years have been expensive flops, the 27-year-old has been quite the opposite.

Despite their struggles under Erik ten Hag earlier this season, Mazraoui hardly had a poor game and he has continued to impress under Amorim. The new manager has used the versatile full-back in an unfamiliar centre-back role where he has thrived.

Wes Brown, who made 362 appearances for the 20-time English champions, hailed Mazraoui's solid performance against FC Viktoria Plzen. The former England defender told MUTV, as quoted by United in Focus:

“Mazraoui, you don’t really notice him but he does everything right, he doesn’t give his man much time at all and that’s what you want from a defender.”

Mazraoui won three tackles, made one interception, five recoveries and three clearances during the game. He also completed 67 passes with 89% accuracy and had 91 touches of the ball.

Manchester United consider 6 players 'unsellable' after holding internal talks: Reports

Manchester United have reportedly identified six players as 'unsellable' ahead of the January transfer window. The Red Devils sit 13th in the Premier League table following what has been a dismal start to the season.

Erik ten Hag was sacked after a shocking run of results before Ruben Amorim took over after a short interim spell under Ruud van Nistelrooy. It has been claimed that the Portuguese managerial mastermind won't have a big budget to bolster his squad in January.

As reported by Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United regard six players as indispensable ahead of the transfer window. The six players are Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro and Andre Onana.

Plettenberg has also claimed that apart from the six, two or three more players are also considered unsellable. The club would reportedly consider offers for any other player apart from the aforementioned ones.
