This is not the first time that football stars have made an appearance in Hollywood movies as other stars like David Beckham, Raul, Zinedine Zidane and many others have appeared in movies like ‘Goal’ and ‘Bend it like Beckham.' Neymar would be the first South American footballer to make a cameo in such a big budget action film.

Vin Diesel is all set reprise his role as the adventure-seeking American spy, Xander Cage. This will be the third installment of the popular "xXx" series. The film also stars Ruby Rose and Samuel L. Jackson in important roles. XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage is slated to be released in January 2017.

Neymar has recently extended his contract to five more years with Barcelona which will shoot up his contract clause to £178m. The clause will rise to £200m in year two and £250 for the final three years.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique expressed his delight on Neymar’s new contract extension and said, "It shows his great level, his progress and that the player is still happy at the club, with his team-mates and with an eagerness to win titles. All renewals are good news, and they invite some cautious optimism.”

Since his €57 million transfer from Santos back in 2013, Neymar has scored 91 goals for Barcelona and won one Champions League, two La Liga titles, and the Copa del Rey on two occasions with the Catalan club.

Neymar and Barcelona’s next fixture is an away trip to Sevilla on Sunday night in the La Liga.
