Stats to know before the EPL weekend: Gameweek 13

0- The number of matches Manchester City have lost so far. The only undefeated team left in the top flight of English football.

1- Liverpool have recorded only one win in their last six attempts away from home. Can they better their record against Swansea at the weekend?

3- The number of South Americans to score multiple hat-tricks in the Premier. 2 hat-tricks from Suarez and Maxi Rodriguez. 4 hat-tricks from Tevez.

4- No wonder Mark Hughes faced the axe at mid-week. Only Everton(4pts, GD=-16) in 1994-95 have had a worst start to the season than QPR (4 pts, GD=-14)

6- The number of Africans to score multiple hat-tricks in the Premier. (4  for the “yak”Yakubu,3 hat-tricks for  Drogba and Adebayor.  2 each for  Ba, Yeboah & Benjani.)

6 again- The no. of goals Carlos Tevez has scored against Chelsea in their last 6 meetings. Will the blues be able to keep the Argentine assassin from striking again?

7- Fulham’s substitutes have scored more goals than any other team’s so far in the League. With Ruiz and Kacaniklic missing, will they be able to step up again?

12- The no. of  goals conceded by Stoke City in the Premier League so far. Only Manchester City have a better defensive record.

12.84- Claudio Yacob loses possesion of the ball more than anyone else. Every 12. 84 minutes (>900 minutes played).

13- Aston Villa will certainly be up against as Arsenal pay them a visit at the weekend. They haven’t managed to come out on the winning side against the Gunners in their last 13 appearances at home (D6 L7).

388- Santi Cazorla, Arsenals’s Spanish Wizard has played a total of 388 passes in the final third. Highest in the league.

900- Sylvain Marveaux finally netted for Newcastle after playing 900 minutes for the club in midweek. Will he be able replace Ben Arfa?

1000- Only 3 men have so far played thousand passes or more this campaign. They are- Yaya Toure, Michael Carrick and Mikael Arteta.
