FIFA 17 player ratings for Barcelona leaked
After the potential Manchester United player ratings for FIFA 17 were revealed on Twitter, Barcelona also had their players’ ratings leaked by a few dedicated FIFA players in Gamescom yesterday. This adds further fuel to FIFA players’ excitement for the upcoming version- to be released in late September. The pictures shown below have been revealed from the Twitter account of @FIFA 17 News.
Barcelona came into the 2015-16 season as the favorites for every competition they were playing in and had another successful campaign, securing the domestic double. Many of the players have been upgraded. There are a few shocking downgrades, but, the defending La Liga Champs have a high overall rated squad.
There are no surprises as to who has the highest rating. Argentina superstar Leo Messi leads the pack with a rating of 94 just edging out Ronaldo who is rated 93. Brazilian trickster Neymar Jr has been bumped up by one to 91. Luis Suarez has the third highest rated card for the Catalans at 90. Sergio Busquets has received a big bump from 84 to 86 in this edition.
Gerard Pique and Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic stay at 85 while outgoing Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo has been upgraded to 84. Defenders Jordi Alba and Javier Mascherano retain their FIFA 16 rating while makeshift right back Sergi Roberto has had his rating increased to 78. The biggest surprise is the downgrade of midfield general Andres Iniesta. The Spaniard is rated at 87. He was downgraded to 88 last year making this his second successive downgrade.
It comes as a shock as Iniesta has had a brilliant 24 months. The new transfers Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne have not had their ratings revealed yet.
Some Revised ratings:
Messi -94, Neymar -91, Suarez -90
Iniesta -87, Busquets -86, Rakitic and Pique -85
