Paris Saint-Germain inks partnership deal with MoneyGram
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG),the Ligue 1 champs, have formed a three-year partnership deal with global money transfer giants MoneyGram.
The deal will involve a number of informational and business events that will help gain visibility for both entities. PSG will provide MoneyGram with a complete hospitality deal wherein they will have complete access to all games that happen at their home stadium of Parc des Princes.
Guillaume Dewael, who is the vice president of MoneyGram, said: “This is a very strategic partnership for MoneyGram, because it will really reinfornce our visibility in France, but also internationally and act as a real catalyst for our development.
“Our clients are our main priority. With Paris Saint-Germain, we want to share strong emotions with our clients by celebrating the universal values of sport and friendship.”
Jean-Claude Blanc, who the director general of PSG spoke highly of the tie up and believed that the partnership will surely evolve into a fruitful association.
He said: “By signing with MoneyGram, Paris Saint-Germain is associating itself with an international economic player that has an essential role in enabling individuals to financially support their loved ones. The partnership of these two brands constitutes a formidable window of global visibility.”
Meanwhile, the club’s former sporting director, Leonardo, believes that the club possessed the best line up in the world especially with the addition of Edinson Cavani.
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura and Ezequiel Lavezzi already in the line-up, the attack looks extremely formidable.
