Paulinho rubbishes Real Madrid rumours
Tottenham target Paulinho has denied rumours that linked him with a move to Real Madrid.
Corinthians had confirmed that they will be losing the 24-year-old midfielder this summer, as the club president Mario Gobbi Filho said that a move for Paulinho was “imminent.”
It is believed that Corinthians had accepted Tottenham Hotspur‘s bid of around £17m, however, recent speculation suggested that the Spanish giants might be looking to hijack Tottenham’s move for the midfielder.
However, Paulinho denied any contact from Real Madrid and also said that he will be making a decision after the end of the Confederations Cup.
Paulinho told Terra: “It’s not true about Real Madrid, the only offer that has come is from Tottenham. But I have already said that I will only evaluate it after the Confederations Cup.”
