Pep Guardiola believes his Bayern Munich stint made him a better manager

Pepe Guardiola led Bayern Munich to three Bundesliga in three seasons

Outgoing Bayern Munich chief coach Pep Guardiola has said that he hopes the years he has spent with the Bavarian football giants have made him "a better coach and a better person".

Guardiola, who next season will leave for Manchester City, on Friday at the presser prior to the last Bundesliga match against Hannover said he will look back on his time at Bayern "as a great experience", reports Efe.

"I am proud to have made the decision to come here. I am now a better coach and a better person," he added.

Guardiola admitted he had not been a "normal" coach during his time at Bayern and announced his intention to celebrate on Saturday the Bundesliga title, the third of his era and the fourth consecutive for Bayern.

He has guided Bayern to three consecutive Bundesliga titles. However, many Bayern fans believe the Spanish coach's tenure as a failure because of his failure to win the European Champions League title.
