Philippe Coutinho runs riot at Liverpool's Players' Awards winning four awards

Philippe Coutinho's extraordinary season was rewarded by his club at the Liverpool Players' Awards. Coutinho picked up four awards including the Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year, Goal of the Year and Performance of the Year.

Coutinho, 22, has been Liverpool's most consistent performer this season having appeared in 34 of the 37 league games. He has contributed 5 goals and 7 assists this season. He has been instrumental in the performance of the team and has come up with big moments in important games. He scored against Arsenal and two beauties; one against Manchester City and the other against Southampton.

The Brazillian magician received the Goal of the Year for the goal he scored against Southampton from 30 yards. The Performance of the Year was for his scintillating performance and goal against Manchester City at Anfield.

Gerrard wins Outstanding Achievement Award

Outgoing Captain, Steven Gerrard, was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for his brilliant service to the club over 17 years. 

Raheem Sterling won the Young Player of the Year award. The 20-year-old bagged 11 goals this season, making him the second highest goal-scorer this season after Steven Gerrard. Joao Carlos Teixeira was named the Academy Players' Player of the Year.

Liverpool took to twitter to announce the winners at the ceremony.
