German amateur side Phonix Lubeck face a stern test in the DFB Pokal as they take on Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund at the Volksparkstadion on Saturday. Nuri Sahin’s men enjoyed a decent run of results in pre-season and will look to mark their return to competitive action on a high.

Phonix Lubeck picked up their first win of the new Regionalliga North campaign last Saturday when they edged out Oldenburg 3-1 at the Stadion Buniamshof.

Dortmund, who suffered a gut-wrenching defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League final last season, will look to begin the new campaign on a positive note ahead of their Bundesliga opener against Eintracht Frankfurt on August 24.
