If any player feels pressure, he should be at home: Atletico de Kolkata coach Antonio Lopez Habas
Kolkata, Dec 13: Atletico De Kolkata(ATK) head coach Antonio Lopez Habas said any player feeling the pressure to perform in the Indian Super League playoffs, should stay at home.
"If someone is feeling the pressure of playing in the semi-finals, then he should be back home resting and not playing football. We are however expecting a game of equal level tomorrow," Habas told ahead of their Sunday first-leg of the semifinal against FC Goa at the Saltlake Stadium
On the availability of Ethiopian striker Fikru Teferra who is nursing a niggle, Habas said: "We have 24 hours to have a look into Fikru. We have a big squad, so it does not worry me much."
"We are not relying only on Fikru or Skipper Luis Garcia.”
In the last round-robin encounter against FC Goa there was an exchange of words between Garcia and Fikru on who would be taking the spot kick. It was however left to the latter who scored from the spot.
Quizzed about Atletico's strategy for the first-leg encounter, Habas said: "We try to play attacking football, sometimes you do it, sometimes not, but we will try and be positive."
