With the Premier League entering the busiest period of the season, matchday 13 was never going to disappoint any of us. From now to the end of December, the teams in the top-flight will have to play a whopping nine games thanks to the festive period fixture pile-up.

This is quite literally the make or break time for the clubs and managers alike as they prepare to welcome the winter transfer window, which could result in some chopping and changing.

The past weekend in the league presented us with a few surprises and some convincing victories. Here we take a look at the five interesting stats from the weekend:

#5 Arsenal's late affair at Turf Moor

Arsenal's 1-0 win over Burnley, courtesy of a penalty awarded to the Gunners by referee Lee Mason after James Tarkowski was adjudged to have fouled Aaron Ramsey in the 92nd minute, meant that the Gunners had to leave it late to snatch three points at Turf Moor, yet again.

The result meant that all of Arsenal's last three wins against Burnley have come with the help of goals scored in stoppage time. The corresponding fixture last year was won by the Gunners' thanks to a Laurent Koscielny header while Alexis Sanchez, who converted from the spot to give them the win on Sunday, was the difference when the two sides met at the Emirates back in January.
