Author's take
The former Espanyol manager's rivalry with Barcelona is something that is strongly appreciated by the Real Madrid fans. He is seen as the favourite to succeed Zinedine Zidane. His desire to take Hugo Lloris with him to Spain instead of Harry Kane, however, is something that will have to be taken into consideration by the Real Madrid board.
There is no denying that there will be a new goalkeeper in Madrid in the summer. Lloris has been with Tottenham since 2012. The failure to win any silverware during his stint in North London is something that may convince the Frenchman to make the move abroad and explore new challenges along with his current manager.
