Premier League: One player likely to leave from each of the big 6
The summer transfer window in England will commence on May 17th and close on August 9th. Whereas in France, Spain, Germany and Italy the window will open on June 1 and close on August 31. There are going to be many players moving from club to club and it will be a busy window with a lot of activity.
The Premier League big six will be part of the transfer activity in the window to bolster their squads in preparation for next season. While they will be interested in purchasing new players in different positions, the managers will have to let some players go.
Here we look at the player likeliest to leave from each of the Premier League big six.
#6 Arsenal - Lucas Perez
Spanish striker and Arsenal forward Lucas Perez is currently on loan to Deportivo La Coruna after failing to break into the Gunners first team last season. A likely candidate to leave the club permanently at the end of the campaign, Perez has been disappointed with the lack of chances in the starting eleven at Arsenal to prove his worth.
With the additions of Alexander Lacazette and Piere-Emerick Aubameyang to the attacking ranks at Arsenal, the chances of Perez's return to the Gunners first team is low.
Whether Perez could be coaxed into staying at the club for an extended period as a bench player seems highly unlikely, as the Spaniard wants consistent playing time which is not a guarantee at the club. With Danny Welbeck also in the running for places, Arsenal looks formidable on paper in the attacking department for next season.
