Premier League predictions for Gameweek 4

Manchester United players celebrate with fans after their last minute winner against Hull

The Premier League enters its fourth game week tomorrow starting with a big one; the Manchester derby. Tomorrow's game is expected to break all records in terms of viewership, with fans from around the world tuned in to watch this enthralling game.

It's the game of the season until now as two of the best managers in the business in Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho. The Manchester clubs along with Chelsea are level on points with City ahead of the two on goal difference.

Chelsea have made a good start to the season and The Blues visit Swansea on Sunday to continue their unbeaten start under Antonio Conte.

Arsenal welcome Southampton as they will look to continue their winning form after beating Watford in the last match day. Liverpool will finally play their first home game of this season, as the champions, Leicester come calling to the redeveloped 54,000-seater Anfield.

Let's take a look at the predictions for this week's Premier League games

1. Manchester United vs Manchester City

Prediction: 2-1

United have emerged as the favourites against their bitter rivals after keeping two clean sheets in their first three games. Though City have scored more than United, the Citizens have conceded thrice this season and United's defence looks more settled than that of Guardiola's City.

Sergio Aguero will be sorely missed and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to continue his rich vein of form against Manchester City’s backline of John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi. United are unbeaten in their last three Manchester derbies.

2. Arsenal vs Southampton

Prediction : 2-0

The mood in Arsenal's camp will be a happy one after some new arrivals in the last week of the transfer period. Southampton have not won a game this season and their wait is expected to be increased for at least a week as Arsenal seem to be too strong for the Saints.

Though Southampton have won thrice in the two sides' last five meetings, this tie will most likely go in the favour of the Gunners.

3. Bournemouth vs West Brom

Prediction : 1-1

West Brom are looking for their second victory of the season after beating Crystal Palace on the opening day. The Cherries have just a point in the bag and will look to open their account against Tony Pulis' side. West Brom could not beat the Cherries last season and this time too, both the sides are predicted to play out a dull draw.

4. Burnley vs Hull

Prediction : 2-1

Burnley have beaten Hull in all the four times when they faced each other in the Championship. Hull, though, have made a surprising start to their season and sit fifth in the league table. Sean Dyche's men return to Turf Moor, where they beat Liverpool 2-0 last time they played at home, and are expected to end Hull's dream start this Saturday.

5. Middlesbrough vs Crystal Palace

Prediction : 2-0

The two sides meet after 11 long years in the Premier League and Palace have not beaten Middlesbrough in the first division since 23 years. Palace have not had much luck andthey will travel on Saturday on the back of two back-to-back losses.

Boro, on the other hand, are unbeaten in the league and sit sixth on the league table, as they look set to continue their unbeaten run against Palace.
