#5 Jarrod Bowen would be a good signing for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are hit with a bit of a crisis up front as Harry Kane is out injured until March and Heung-min Son is on international duty with South Korea in the ongoing AFC Asian Cup 2019.

As a result, it has been touted that Spurs are set to sign someone to replenish the attack and one among the names thrown around is of Jarrod Bowen. The Hull City striker has been in great form in the Championship, scoring 14 goals from 28 games while assisting thrice in the process.

And according to former Hull manager Phil Brown, Bowen is an excellent talent with an eye for goal and is someone with a strong attitude.

“He’s a precocious talent and he’s got an eye for goal,” Brown said. " I’ve heard a lot of people talking about him and he’s got a great attitude. A lot of the boxes to go to the next level Jarrod certainly ticks.

Brown then added that Bowen would be a superb addition to the Premier League and even though he has had his doubts over whether the youngster is ready for a top six side in the premier division of England, he thinks that the Lilywhites are a good team for a youngster like him to join.

“I would say he would be a welcome addition - and Spurs are a great example - to any Premier League squad.

“I didn’t think at this moment he was ready for the top six but certainly where Spurs are concerned they do their homework with regards to research on players so you have to say it [would] be a great decision for the player and for Tottenham.”
