Edinson Cavani eyes revenge

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is looking forward to the UEFA Champions League quarter final clash with Chelsea as a revenge match.

Edinson Cavani had previously met the Blues when he was a Napoli player in the 2011-12 Champions League in the round of 16 stage. Napoli won the first leg 3-1 at home, but Chelsea upset them and overturned the result in the second leg winning 3-0  and qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Sports Mole quoted Cavani: “To me I will be using the game looking for revenge, because I faced Chelsea with Napoli,”

“We didn’t deserve to lose, although we didn’t play well in London to get through but we showed a lot in Naples, where we were better than them.

“It’s like revenge against one of the biggest teams in the world, with the best players and against a team who are playing in a really attractive league. It’s awesome (the Premier League).”

Paris Saint-Germain will host the English Giants for the quarter final clash on Wednesday night.
