PSG transfer news: Neymar snubs Real Madrid, Pastore set to move, and more, 28th January 2018
Neymar looking to make history with PSG
Neymar joined PSG last summer on a world record transfer fee of €222 million. In the last few weeks, reports have linked Neymar with a move to Real Madrid.
The Brazilian put all the speculation to bed as he said that he has come to Paris to make history at PSG. "I cam here to make history, to give the best of myself and score lots of goals," Neymar said as quoted by the Ligue 1.com
The winger insisted that he is happy at the club as he is enjoying his time with friends and team-mates. "I am calm, I am happy here with my friends and my team-mates," the winger added.
Pochettino coy over Moura deal
Lucas Moura has failed to get game time this season and is set to make a move away from PSG. According to the Sky Sports, Tottenham are in talks with PSG who are demanding a fee of £23 million for the Brazilian.
Tottenham Manager Mauricio Pochettino was in no mood to reveal details about the talks. He said that there are lots of rumours and stated that he does not like to discuss transfer rumours.
"There's a lot of rumours about different players, you know I never talk about rumours," Pochettino said as quoted by the Sky Sports
Javier Pastore wants Inter Milan move
Like Lucas, Pastore too has failed to break into the first team on a regular basis. The Argentine playmaker knows that he needs to play more to get a place in the Argentina World Cup squad. He admitted that he is looking to make a move away from Paris this window.
"I want to play more since my objective is to participate in this summer's World Cup, PSG? I am happy here but at the same time, I know that I risk losing out on the World Cup." Javier Pastore said as quoted by Daily Mail
Pastore joined PSG from Palermo in 2011 and has scored 44 goals in 248 appearances for the Paris based club. The playmaker wants to move back to the Serie A, with Inter Milan being his preferred destination.
"I don't know what will happen and yes there is a lot of talk about Inter Milan but let's see. If I do leave, I would love to return to Italy since I know that league well."
