PSG enter the race to sign Paulo Dybala
Paulo Dybala is one of the most sought-after players in the world. He has been constantly linked to a move away from Juventus in the past. European giants like Manchester United and Real Madrid are said to be keeping tabs on his situation at the Turin based club.
However, according to Corriere Della Sera, PSG have entered the race to sign the Argentine forward. They reported that Dybala, his brother, and the player's agent held talks with the big spending Paris club.
There were rumours that Juventus were trying to offer Dybala a new contract to tie down their prized asset for a long time. The departure of the 24-year-old forward would be a big loss for Juventus but his signing would be a huge boost to PSG who shook the transfer market by securing the services of Neymar on a world record transfer.
PSG looking to sign a backup midfielder?
Age seems to be catching up with Thiago Motta who suffered yet another injury which kept him out of action for 6 weeks. PSG had to use to use makeshift options at midfield which clearly shows the lack of depth in midfield.
According to the Goal.com, PSG manager Unai Emery is looking to sign a midfielder as a backup for Thiago Motta. Adrien Rabiot who is a central midfielder by trade had to play at the base of midfield due to unavailability of Motta.
Therefore, multiple time UEFA Europa League winning coach Emery has hinted at making an attempt to sign a cover for Motta."We are lacking a player with the profile of Thiago Motta, a real No.6." Emery said at a news conference
PSG not interested in Jan Oblak
Oblak is one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in the world. There were a lot of reports which strongly linked the Slovenian shot-stopper to a move to Paris from Madrid.
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique has made it clear that PSG are not willing to make a move for the Atletico Madrid shot-stopper who has a release clause of €100 million. Henrique said that PSG has not contacted any goalkeeper and he is happy with the current goalkeeping situation at the Paris based club.
“Oblak? No, it’s not true. Moreover, no goalkeeper can say that he has been contacted by PSG. We don’t need a goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola and Kevin Trapp are there." - Antero Henrique said as quoted by Football Espana
Kylian Mbappe refuses to commit his future to PSG
Kylian Mbappe was brilliant for Monaco last season performing well in both, Europe, and the domestic league. This made him a transfer target of many clubs including PSG, who signed him on an initial loan deal which is set to be made permanent at the end of the campaign for a reported fee of €180 million.
Mbappe has admitted that he is unsure about his future, saying that he doesn't know where he would be playing 2 years from now. He said that he had plans for his career but nothing has gone according to the plan.
He admitted that he is doing better than he expected to do.
"I had some plans for my career, but since nothing has happened as planned and I'm already doing better than I imagined a few months ago, it's difficult to project," he told France Football
