Pune FC Under-15, U-13 & U-10 'Open' Trials on July 27/28

I-League side Pune FC will conduct ‘Open’ trials for its Under-15, Under-13 and Under-10 teams for the forthcoming 2013/14 season at the Pune FC Practice Pitches, Mamurdi on July 27 and 28, 2013. The said trials are open to only Pune-residents keeping in mind the need to develop and train talent from the city.Beginning this year, Pune FC has introduced two new age groups to its curriculum – the Under-13 and Under-10 age-groups respectively.

“It is essential that local talent be honed and allowed a chance to graduate to the next level. We believe and hope that someday players from these ranks graduate and make the city proud in the sport,” informed Ranjan Choudhury, Pune FC’s Head of Youth Development.

The cut-off age for players for various age-group trials is as follows

Under-15: born after 1.1.1999

Under-13: born after 1.1.2001

Under-10: born after 1.1.2004

The trials on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28 have been slated for 2.00 pm. All players are requested to come in their football kits.

Players interested in attending trials need to report at Balewadi Sports Complex (Hostel Gate) at 1.00 pm sharp. Transport will be provided by the club. Players intending to reach the venue directly can also do so.

All players attending any age-group ‘Pune FC Open Trials’ should carry along a proof of age document/ certificate (a xerox of either birth certificate/SSLC Certificate issued by board of education or passport) and two passport size photographs.
