Real Madrid boss hints at Falcao transfer
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has hinted at a possible move by Real Madrid to acquire the services of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao who is currently a part of French side Monaco. The striker signed for the cash rich French club from Atletico Madrid at the end of last season for a transfer fee in the region of £53 million.
The Madrid boss said, “He (Falcao) won’t come in January but in June, who knows?”
“Nothing is impossible and there is a lot of time between now and then.”
He also added, ‘”Falcao is a great player and I am aware that he wants to play for (Real) Madrid. I am aware of that, but it’s normal. They told me.”
A major reason for this pursuance by the Los Blancos could be the dismal form of French striker Karim Benzema who has failed in his attempts to win over the Madrid fans since his arrival at the club in 2009.
The Falcao transfer is still a matter of the future, but it could be the answer to Real Madrid’s striking troubles.
