Reports: Gareth Bale wants Real Madrid to sign Premier League superstar Dele Alli

The heart of the matter

It promises to be a summer of massive change at Real Madrid. With the futures of James Rodriguez and Isco uncertain and with Luka Modric now above the age of 30, the midfield for Los Blancos can see some fresh faces in the next season. Chelsea’s stars Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have also been heavily linked but now Madrid seem to have made the Tottenham midfielder their prime target.

While Real Madrid might have missed out on signing Paul Pogba in the previous season. they will be keen to sign Dele Alli and build the team around the young Englishman in the future. Also, it is rumoured that Gareth Bale is also a huge fan of the Tottenham youngster and Dele Alli’s arrival would also make the speedy Welshman happy.

What’s next?

With games coming thick and fast at the business end of the season, both Real Madrid and Tottenham will be desperate to end their seasons on a good note. While Real Madrid are still hopeful of grabbing a League and Champions League double, Tottenham will be hoping to capitalise on any slip-ups from Chelsea and keep up the pressure in the Premier League title race.

On a personal note, Dele Alli will be keen to continue his excellent form and he is also an outside contender for the PFA Player of the Year award.
