Real Madrid will buy back Alvaro Morata and sell him to Arsenal immediately
Real Madrid are attempting one of the bizarrest transfer stories this upcoming transfer window. Recently, a poll conducted by Spanish newspaper AS revealed that nearly 66% of sample asked said they wanted Alvaro Morata back at the club.
The young striker was sold to Juventus two seasons ago and it looks like Real Madrid are ready to listen to their fans and sign him back this summer but instead of keeping him in their squad, are ready to offload him to English giants, Arsenal.
The Gunners have been on the lookout for a striker after what looks like another failed title bid in England and have reportedly identified Morata as the one who could take them to the next level and make the most of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
While Real Madrid fans will be glad Morata is making a comeback to the club, a move away from the Spanish capital seems confusing and despicable. Morata has been in fine form for Juventus this season scoring 8 goals and assisting a further 5 but – with the Turin club having uncovered a gem in Paulo Dybala – are willing to let the youngster leave for the right price.
Real Madrid are ready to activate the buy-back deal and would have to pay around €20m – €30m for Morata. Considering the form he's in and the age of the youngster, Madrid are willing to sell him to Arsenal for around €50m and make a nice profit.
The Madrid club enjoy a good and healthy relationship with Arsene Wenger and Arsenal having dealt in many players before the latest being Mesut Ozil who signed for Arsenal on deadline day of 2013. It is believed this friendship between the two clubs is what has persuaded Florentino Perez and his colleagues to consider selling Morata to the Gunners.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have maintained some interest in Arsenal's Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey and will be hoping this friendship would see the two Britishers move to the club in the near future.
