What’s the story?

Real Madrid are have not enjoyed a good start to the season in La Liga. Zinedine Zidane, just like the fans, is also not happy with this and is planning for the future already.

According to reports in Marca, Los Blancos are keen on signing Harry Kane and Dele Alli next summer. Zidane see's them as the ideal players for his squad right now and determined to land them at any cost.

In case you didn’t know...

This isn't the first time Real Madrid are targetting a player from Tottenham. They have signed Luka Modric and Gareth Bale in the past and will not hold back on signings their best players again.

The heart of the matter

Tottenham have no intentions of selling their best players right now but Real Madrid are not giving up on their hopes of signing the duo. Zidane is reportedly in talks with the Madrid board already and has made it clear that he wants them at Bernabeu next summer.

As per other rumours, Los Blancos are ready to offer Benzema in return for Harry Kane but are not willing to let go of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese international is a club legend and is determined to retire at the club.

Madrid are willing to offer up to €200 million for the duo but will not back down from signing them even if it costs them more. They believe that the two can make the current squad better and help them win all the trophies on offer.

Author’s Take

Harry Kane and Dele Alli have been on top of their form for quite some time, and it's no surprise that they are on the Madrid radar. But will they be as effective as they are in the Premier League? I don't think so. Kane might adjust well and score a lot more, but Alli might find it difficult to adapt to the style of football in La Liga.
