Real Madrid to offload five players to fund Neymar's transfer
Yesterday it was revealed that Neymar would cost around €300 million for Real Madrid this summer. And today, Don Balon has reported that Los Blancos have decided to sell five first-team players to fund a move for Neymar.
The players on Real Madrid's selling list are Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Dani Ceballos, Matteo Kovacic and Jesus Vallejo. The club hierarchy are looking to raise at least €200 million from the sale of these five players.
Atletico Madrid contact Edinson Cavani
With Antoine Griezmann closing in on a move to FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid have started preparing for life after the Frenchman. Mundo Deportivo has reported that Atletico have contacted PSG's Edinson Cavani over a potential summer deal.
Cavani has long been linked with a move away from Paris and may accept the proposal to replace Griezmann at the Wanda Metropolitana.
