Jose Mourinho on Hazard to Madrid
Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for about a year now and everyone seems to be talking about it. From former Real Madrid players to former Chelsea players, everyone seems to be having an opinion about this.
And now, Jose Mourinho has joined the party. According to the former Chelsea boss, Eden Hazard has the talent and the personality to play for the Merengues but doesn’t know as to what is his ambitions are as he hasn’t spoken to him.
"Does he have the talent to play for Real Madrid? He does,” he said.
"Does he have the personality to put on a 'super-heavy' shirt and play in front of the fans at the Bernabeu? Yes, he has the personality.
"Regarding Eden's ambitions... be it playing for Chelsea his whole life or playing for a giant like Real Madrid, I can't say, because I haven't spoken to him for a long time."
Offers for Isco and Marcelo
According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid have received offers for Marcelo and Isco from Juventus. The Old Lady have offered €30 million upfront and €10 million in variables. Perez, however, can’t seem to agree to it.
For Isco, they offer €60 million, which is €40 million less than what Perez wants. However, the former Malaga man is pressing the president to accept it.
Icardi update
According to journalist Maurizio Pistocchi, Real Madrid won’t sign Mauro Icardi because Florentino Perez is not keen on dealing with Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda Nara.
“Florentino Perez has personally told a close friend of mine that Real do not wish to deal with the agent of Icardi,” Pistocchi tweeted.
