After suffering a torrid start to the 2017/18 season, Zinedine Zidane is already planning ahead for the next season and has already made a list of players he would want to sign and let go of next season. We take a look at the top Real Madrid transfer news on 8 February 2018.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has decided to sell Isco in the summer after the Spanish playmaker's underwhelming performances this season, reports AS.

The decision has come as a surprise to many as it was Zidane who persuaded Florentino Perez to get rid of James Rodriguez so that he could play Isco more often.

AS claims that Zidane is a huge fan of Isco and what he can bring to the team with his attacking style of play but the manager is feeling let down by the player as Isco has failed to make the most of his chances this season.

Having made the decision to sell Isco in the summer, Zidane is once again playing with fire after suffering a mediocre 2017-18 season so far. Real Madrid are currently 4th in the league table and 19 points behind the league leaders Barcelona.

Zidane's own future at the club remains a doubt after Daily Mail have reported the possibility of Tottenham duo Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane moving to Bernabeu next summer as part of a massive overhaul at Real Madrid.

Former Brazil and Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has backed Neymar to sign for Real Madrid in the coming years and be a massive success for the Los Blancos, reports Marca.

According to Independent, Neymar is widely tipped to join Real Madrid in the summer as the club President Florentino Perez is ready for a massive squad overhaul with Neymar and Eden Hazard being reported as his major targets.

Ronaldo agrees with the notion and while speaking with Marca earlier in the week, he said that Neymar will be the best player in the coming years and a club of Real Madrid's stature need to sign the best players in the world.

Neymar has been in sensational form this season scoring 27 goals and managing 14 assists from just 26 matches for PSG. Zinedine Zidane has remained quiet on Neymar's speculations for now and is letting the club hierarchy deal with this reportedly lucrative transfer.
