He also added that he is quite surprised at how things are going on for him right now and believes that the extreme pressure of performing at Madrid is getting the better of him.
‘I am a little surprised at what is happening at Real Madrid with Gareth Bale,’ he said.
‘He is a very good player, he is not Cristiano [Ronaldo] or [Lionel] Messi, he is not a regular, he always plays well and there is more pressure than at Tottenham. I think that’s a problem for him.
‘Going to succeed in another place? It may be best but I think he wants to stay at Real Madrid and play more.
‘But a team like United or a return to Tottenham could be better for him because people in England are different to those in Spain.’
PSG could sell
Despite the fact that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi claimed that both Neymar and Mbappe aren’t for sale, reports in Spain claim that the French giants are willing to sell one of the two to the Bernabeu if they include Vinicius in the deal.
Florentino Perez isn’t keen on negotiating a departure for Vinicius but the report claims that he could be enticed to make a deal if Mbappe is on offer.
Bale close to leaving
Gareth Bale was jeered by the Madrid fans when he made way for Marco Asensio in the last Clasico. The Bernabeu seems to be fed up with him and AS thinks he is closer than ever to leaving the Galacticos.
