Real Madrid transfer news: Paris Saint-Germain set to complete signing of Los Blancos forward Jese Rodriguez
Paris Saint-Germain are close to completing a move for Real Madrid forward Jese Rodriguez. According to various sources, the 23-year old is set to sign a 4-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions for a reported fee of €25 million.
The arrival of Morata from Juventus will see Jese’s playing time reduce at Madrid, and a move to Paris Saint-Germain will suit all parties involved. New PSG boss Unai Emery who replaced Laurent Blanc is said to be a huge admirer of Jese’s talents.
Emery even tried to sign the Madrid youngster at Sevilla and he sees the forward as a perfect back-up to Edinson Cavani. "I know Jese well, the club knows Jese well,” Emery said last week. “He is a good player."
The Ligue 1 champions stepped up their pursuit of the Spaniard last week and now a deal seems to have agreed with both clubs set to officially announce the signing later today. The talented Spaniard could only manage 6 goals in 38 appearances for Real Madrid last season and he struggled for regular playing time under the Frenchman.

Real Madrid are yet to make their moves in the transfer market. Having exercised their buy-back clause for Alvaro Morata, early in the transfer window, Los Blancos have not signed any other star so far.
Having been linked with the likes of Paul Pogba, Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the club are yet to stamp their authority and ensure they're able to buy the best players in the market.
Andre Gomes was also wanted by Madrid, but the Portuguese midfielder eventually chose their rivals Barcelona. Gomes himself said:
"It's an honour to wear this Barcelona shirt," he told reporters at his unveiling. "I've fulfilled a dream for me and my family, I had to choose and I chose the best team.
"Each team has their own style, and Barcelona fits mine best. It has to do with my identity, philosophy and what I consider important to football."
They're also constantly linked with Chelsea's Eden Hazard but the Belgian ruled out a move away from Stamford Bridge this season around insisting that if he'll to leave, he'll leave after helping the club achieve something great.
With close to a month left for the transfer window to end, Real Madrid have time to buy their targets with Zidane said to be interested in signing a central midfielder and a forward.
