Real Madrid transfer rumour: Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale agree new deals
Reports emerging from Spain have revealed that Real Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have both signed new deals with Los Blancos. Bale and Ronaldo, two of the three players forming the formidable BBC trio, have been heavily linked with moves away from the club with Manchester United reportedly being the primary destination for Bale.
Spanish website Diario Gol had sensationally claimed that Manchester United representatives met with Bale’s agent last week in an attempt to begin negotiations for a switch to Old Trafford for the former Spurs star.

In an attempt to nip such interest in the bud, Madrid have reportedly offered the Welshman a blockbuster £91million deal. The 27-year-old is an integral part of the Real Madrid side and has bagged two Champions League titles as well as a La Liga Championship since his arrival from Spurs in 2013. He has also amassed a whopping 50 goals in 87 league appearances for the Bernabeu club since his arrival.
The Portuguese ace, Ronaldo, meanwhile has reportedly signed a new 5-year deal as well which will keep him at the club until 2021 thereby eliminating interest from the MLS and China. Arguably the best player on the planet right now, Ronaldo has also been constantly linked with a move to his former club Manchester United. While the reports have stated that deals have been agreed upon, further details were not disclosed.
Apart from Bale and Ronaldo, goalkeeper Keylor Navas has also agreed on a new deal while Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are in the process of negotiations. Pepe is currently away on international duty but will commit his long-term future to the club on his return.

According to Spanish radio station Cope, Isco will not be handed an extension. The playmaker has not featured for Madrid this season and does not look to be a part of Zidane’s plans in the future and is set to be offloaded to Italy next season.
With Bale and Ronaldo set to stay in Spain, Manchester United are set to turn their attention to Antoine Griezmann although he too has stated his desire to remain at Atletico for at least a couple more seasons.
